I had the privilge of knowing Lonnie for the past two years. He was always smiling, laughing and ready to tell a story. I especially loved listening to him tell about his flying experiences. What an interesting man! My only regret is that we were never able to go fishing together. I will miss him.

Debbie has known Lonnie all her life, but for the two of us, we became close friends the last couple of years. We always enjoyed Lonnie’s company and sharing stories of South Park and our families,. I (Jim) always enjoyed the times we visited reliving some of his WWII flying experiences and generally just enjoying each other’s fellowship. Lonnie will be missed; Debbie and I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to you, Lonnie’s family. May the good Lord be with you in your time of need.
