Cora Nadine Brammer, 91, of Saratoga died January 24, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. Cora was born in Saratoga on August 25, 1916 to George and Cora (Brodson) Hart. A lifelong resident of Saratoga, she owned and operated Brammer’s Grocery.
She is survived by her son, Gale Brammer and wife Betty Jo of Saratoga; sisters, Lois Scott of Beaumont and Martha Thorsen of Silsbee; brother, Herman Hart of Saratoga; granddaughters, Lorie Kerr, Lisa Teisdale, Tammy Fillingame, and Penny Tilton; and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brammer and son, Dale Brammer.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Saratoga, 7474 Birch Street, Saratoga. Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, January 25, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church and also on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
