Stella Ann Thomas, 64, of Honey Island died January 21, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. She was born September 16, 1943 in Temple, Texas and was a resident of Honey Island since 1967. Stella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Heince H. Thomas of Honey Island; children, Ricky Thomas and wife Shawna of Silsbee, Forrest Thomas and wife Patricia of Bay City, Gwyndoline Walters and husband Randy of Honey Island, and Ricky Gene Thomas, Jr. of Honey Island; seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild with one on the way; six brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Odie Thomas, Sr.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2008 at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze followed by burial at Jordan Cemetery in Honey Island. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
