What a happy chance meeting my friend Anita Crumpton and I had at Pandemonio Trattoria in Florence, Italy in October 2002. Cooper was with his friend Jay and Shastie Morris. We started talking to them and they joined us on the roof garden of our hotel. What fun we had and what a delightful man Cooper was. He was a guest in my home on two occasions and he played my son's guitar and sang for us. I was one of the lucky ones to have known this nice man. Please know that thoughts and prayers are coming from every direction.

What an honor to have met such a very special man who always gave more of himself than he asked of others.
