Robert Guidry, 85, of Kountze died March 28, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie with burial in High Island Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in High Island, TX. he was formerly a 30 year resident of Vidor and was retired from the oilfield industry. He also served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
Survived by his wife, Hazel Guidry of Kountze; sons, William Guidry, Arthur Guidry and James Guidry all of High Island; stepdaughter, Sharon Crissey of Kountze; sisters, Evelyn Ann McCagg and Georgia Ann Maples both of Pt. Bolivar; brother, Sammie Guidry of LaBelle; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
