To the Kling Family:

I was just thinking of Sheryl and thought I’d look at the Guestbook online. I was so surprised to see that the entry I made just after she passed away wasn’t there, so I am entering it again.

I worked with Sheryl here at City Hall for 12 years. It's been a while now since her unexpected departure from this World, but I just wanted you all to know I still miss her. There's not a day that I walk through our parking lot that I don't find myself looking at "her spot" where her white van would always be. Since she passed, I have thought of her so often, especially when I come across something here at work with her name on it. It makes me pause for a moment, experience a bit of sadness, then I always find myself smiling, because she was such a good friend to me. We spent many nights working late together and would “treat” each other to those little packages of donuts from the vending machine. I liked the white powdered ones, and she liked the chocolate covered ones.

She always had such a good disposition, a ready smile on her face for everyone, and would go to great lengths to help everyone. She was such a sweet, classy Lady and I miss her so much.

Please take comfort in knowing we have not forgotten her here at the City. Many of us mention her from time to time and remember her fondly. She was a great person and made a positive impact on many of us here. We were honored to have her among us.

Mrs. Isbell, I am so very sorry to hear about Sheryl. Such fond memories flood my mind--sleepovers at your house and mine, double dating, and of course the most memorable was Belles. What a happy dancer she was. I pray that God's strength and love will overcome you at this time, and the sweet memories will wipe away the pain. Love, Dianne
