Vennie Faye Pierce, 69, of Beaumont, died Friday, January 11, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. She was a native of Bells, Texas and resident of Beaumont since 1989. Mrs. Pierce attended the HOPE-LEAP programs at Spindletop MHMR in Beaumont.
Survivors include her brother, Paul Pierce of Port Neches; sister, Betty Turner of Arlington, Texas; sister-in-law, Dorothy Pierce of Nederland; dear friend, Janice Morgan; caregiver, Darolyn Flood of Kountze; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Beaumont. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Little Jordan Cemetery in Savoy, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Mortuary.
