James Rupert Harrell, 77, of Clear Lake passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2008 in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the directions of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 11:00am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at the mortuary.
James was born in of Bishop, Texas and lived in Nederland for most of his adult life. He lived in Clear Lake for the past 5 years. He was retired from Neches Butane after 45 years of service. James was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Harrell.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his daughter, Laura Linares and her husband Larry of Clear Lake; granddaughter, Lindsay Linares of Clear Lake; sister, Betty Jane Jones and her husband, Reece of Groves; and a host of other relatives and friends.
