Virgie Mae Thomas, 59, of Stowell died April 5, 2004 at Winnie Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Mt. Horeb Church in Stowell under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will begin Thursday, 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Born in Arnaudville, LA. she lived in Stowell for 40 years and worked for Winnie Community Hospital.
Preceded in death by her son, Paul Powell, Jr. and is survived by her sons, Pat Thomas, Ricky Thomas and LeRoy Thomas all of Winnie; daughters, Brenda Gibbons of Winnie; brothers, Merrick King, Jr. of Stowell and Mormon King of Stowell, John King of Houston; sisters, Gracie Levier of Winnie and Orelia Guillory of China, TX.; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
