Dr. Cook was such a kind and gentle man, and so very dedicated to his profession. He brought one of my young cats back from the brink of death after being hit by a car, with persistence and devotion, and a "never give up" attitude. He sutured up my pet rat, and held him ever so gently as he was coming out of anesthesia...he placed his stethoscope on my 16 year old Siamese cat's heart as she lay dying on his exam table, and helped her to pass without pain and suffering, and assured me as I wept that I was making the right choice for her. I will never ever forget his quiet and humble nature. He was softspoken, sweet, and so caring. It was obvious that he loved his profession, and his shoes will be difficult to fill. Rest in peace, Dr. Cook.... you will be truly missed.

It has been such a shock to loose Dr. Cook. I have taken our family pets to him for about 20 yrs. and have never know a man with such a loving, gentle spirit. Dr. Cook was a remarkable person, a kind man to both the pets he saw and their owners. We are grateful to have known him and wanted you to know he touched all of our lives. Please know that my family will remember you, your children and his staff in our prayers.
