Rena Grivat Comeaux, 83 of Groves, Texas, died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
A native of Loreauville, Louisiana, she has lived in the Port Arthur and Groves area since 1951 where she worked in retail at G.I. Surplus for more than 20 years and was a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Port Arthur.
Visitation for Mrs. Comeaux will be on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 5:00~8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church Friday morning, January 4, 2008 at 10:00am with the Reverend Duc Duong as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur.
Survivors are her husband Homer J. Comeaux of Groves, son; Leland J. Comeaux of Groves, three daughters; Bonnie Miller and husband Clint of Nederland, Cydnee Green and husband Harold of Missouri City, and Tina Adams and husband Randy of Bridge City, 14 grandchildren; Ryan Comeaux, Renee' Maxwell, Anthony Comeaux, Frances Whitehead, Jeremy Denzlinger, Abram Denzlinger, Micah Denzlinger, Beau Denzlinger, Nicole Garner, Elizabeth Seymour, Bobby Garner, Lauren Davis, Buddy J. Adams, Lindsey Adams, and 5 great grandchildren.
