Lillian Lee Parsley, 92, of Kountze died December 26, 2007 at Country Dreams Assisted Living Center. She was born in Dawson, Texas on December 31, 1915 to Robert Lee and Mary Della (Brewster) Clarke. A resident of Kountze most of her life, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Parsley and wife Margaret of Sour Lake; daughter, Donna Gay Deitrich of Pine Ridge; grandchildren, Tony Parsley, Douglas Parsley, Eric Parsley, Mike Deitrich, Kenneth Deitrich, and Gina Carr; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Truman Parsley, sisters, Lois Nail and Irma Gene Clarke; and grandsons, Kenneth Parsley and Carl Wayne Parsley.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake with Mr. Merlin Breaux officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, December 28, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.

Lillian was a good and faithful wife, wonderful mother, and a caring grandmother. She will be missed by many.
