Mayzella “Mazie” Skipper Miller, 82, of Silsbee, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at Pine Arbor Healthcare in Silsbee.
Mrs. Miller was a native of Anson and a longtime resident of this area. She was a retired waitress.
She is survived by her son, Gene Miller and his wife Roxanna of Beaumont; daughter, Jana Chambers and her husband Mike of Fred; grandchildren, Sarah Villanueva, Keith Miller and Laura Riddick; great-grandson, Trevor Riddick Jr.; sister, Virginia Acklin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her father and mother, Roy and Margaret Skipper and brother, Roy Jackson Skipper, Jr.
A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 21, 2007 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, December 20, 2007, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
