Jane “J.J.” Jones Hatfield 63, of Hamshire, died Friday, December 14, 2007. A native of Saratoga, J.J. lived in Hamshire and the Houston area most of her life.
J.J. was in the Music Industry and was founder and president of Texas 16th Ave Productions.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 PM at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2007 evening at the mortuary.
J.J. is survived by her mother, Alfreida Guynes Lewis and father, Walter Lewis of Lufkin; daughters Johnlyn Lester and her husband, Joe of Waller, Lara Tippett and her husband, Steven of New New Braunfels, Vickie Schwartz and her husband, Myles of Lawrenceville, Georgia; son, Brad Hatfield of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister, Jean Caruthers and her husband, Joe of Hamshire; brother, Tom Marcus Jones and his wife, Kathy of Paradise; grandchildren, Melissa Schwartz and Matthew Schwartz both of Lawrenceville, Georgia; nephew, Joseph Caruthers of Austin; and niece, Amanda Willett of Sulphur, Louisiana. J.J. is preceeded in death by her husband, William Henry Hatfield III; and her father, Tom Howard Jones.
