Ethel Lee Whitmire Moss, of Evadale, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.
A lifelong resident of Evadale, she was a retired provider with Buna Nursing Home and a longtime member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle of Evadale.
She is survived by her daughter, Johnny Merle Smith and husband Milton of Evadale; daughter in law Linda Moss of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lisa, Dwayne, Christi, Yolanda, Renia, Tonia, Donelle, and Anthony; fifteen great-children; brothers, Tevis Whitmire of Evadale, and C.B. Whitmire of Buna; sisters, Jackie Moss and Nita Holloway both of Buna.
Mrs. Moss is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jessie and Ida Mae Whitmire; husband Elmer Moss; children, Melba Smith, Billy Don Moss, and Danny Moss.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Evadale with Reverend Steve McMullen officiating. Burial will follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, December 14, 2007, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s Mortuary, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
