Joseph Wayne Bogue, 71, of Beaumont died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. Mr. Bogue retired from Gulf States Utilities after thirty-eight years of service. He was a United States Army veteran and had served in the 11th Airborne Division.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Bogue of Beaumont; seven children, Laurie Mozingo and husband Mike of Monument, Colorado, Matt Bogue and wife Vanessa of Plano, Alex Bogue and wife Jenny of Spicewood, A.Z. Walker and wife Kathy of Lindale, Kevin Bogue and wife Cheri of Tyler, Nora Smith and husband Gary of Vidor, and Jerry Bogue; eighteen grandchildren, Christina Feagin, Christina Flowers, Donea Smith, Justin Smith, Angela Lauve, Christopher Walker, Tina Moll, Rachel Walker, Matthew Walker, Sarah Bogue, Daniel Bogue, Cody Bogue, Courtney Bogue, Trisha Johnson, Brannon Johnson, Tony Mozingo, Nicholas Bogue and Corey Bogue; fourteen great grandchildren, Ashley Wales, Tanner Feagin, Shelby Feagin, Cheyenne Lauve, Zach Flowers, Alexus Flowers, Brooke Fields, Randi Fields, Joshua Smith, Jacob Smith, Syndey Walker, Kierstan Moll, Tim Flowers and Brandi Stutts ; two great great grandchildren, Hayley Whiteside and Amberly Stutts; sister, Jeanette Benoit of Timpson; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with military burial rites to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Mortuary.
