Betty Louise Bass, 72, of Beaumont, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur. She was a native of Canton, Texas and a resident of Beaumont for over thirty years.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Sloane of Nederland, Sandy Gage of Silsbee, Vickie Bass and Nadalie Warner both of Nederland; sons, James Bass, Larry Bass, David Bass, Mark Bass, Mike Bass all of Nederland and Brandon Bass of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lisa Cooley, Daniel Bass, Sarah Bass, Madison Warner, Heaven Warner, Thomas Sloane and Kadie Sloane; brothers, Randal Black of Tyler and Charles R. Black of Big Sandy.
Her husband, J. K. Bass; children, Jerry Lynn Bass and Terry Glynn Bass; brother, Billy Paskel; and sister, Mary Harrison preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2007 at Florida Avenue Baptist Church in Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the mortuary.
