T.D. "Santa" Byerley, 77 , of Winnie passed away April 5, 2004. Mr. Byerley was known to everyone as Santa. You could always see him riding his three wheel bike through Winnie. He will dearly be missed. He retired from Galveston Road and Bridge.
Services for Mr. Byerley were Thursday, April 8, 2004, 2:00pm at Broussard's Chapel with burial in High Island Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard's, 134 W. Buccaneer , Winnie. A gathering of Family and friends was Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 5:00- 9:00pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by his guardians and nieces, Judith Box Smith of Nacogdoches,Tx; Melissa Jones of Alvin; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
