Lila M. Davison, 96 of Beaumont passed peacefully Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Cypress Glen East in Port Arthur. Lila was born November 9, 1911 in Lake Arthur, Louisiana. After leaving Louisiana, Lila spent the rest of her life in Beaumont. She was employed with and retired from Stewart Title after fifty-six years of dedication. Lila made a lasting impression on those who knew her and she will be missed.
Lila is survived by her stepson, James Davison; grandchildren; Karen Weller, Sherrye Kohler and husband Chris, Cindy Bolton and husband Darwin; great grandchildren, Emily Summers, Todd Weller, Kyndale Borchelt, Erin Hathaway, Stacie Kohler, Christopher Kohler and Ashley Bolton all of Beaumont. Lila also has numerous great-great grandchildren.
Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Davison; daughter, Claire Mills and husband I.L. "Larry" Mills; and stepson, David Davison.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
