Carolyn, I am writing this letter in memory of your mother and my Aunt Agnes: Dear Aunt Agnes, I know you are at peace and without pain and without the sadness of this world. You always lifted my spirtis when I talked to you. You never complained even though I know you were in pain and that you were not able to get out and visit with your friends and family. Aunt Agnes, put all that aside, for you are in a far better place than you could ever be on this earth. We love you and will miss you more than you will ever know. Melvin and Patsy (Ewing) Gimnick

CAROLYN, I AM SO SORRY THAT MY AUNT AGNES HAD TO SUFFER SO MUCH. I KNOW SHE IS IN HEAVEN NOW AND IS IN NO PAIN. I VISITED HER EVERY DAY WHILE SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND WAS SO GLAD SHE WAS HERE SO I COULD BE WITH HER. SHE WAS SO MUCH FUN TO BE WITH AND MADE ME FEEL "ON TOP OF THE WORLD" WHEN I WAS WITH HER OR WHEN I TALKED TO HER ON THE PHONE. I AM SO PROUD THAT I WAS ABLE TO SPEND THE LAST HOURS WITH HER BEFORE SHE WENT TO BE WITH OUR LORD. I LOVED HER AND SHE LOVED ME. I WILL MISS BEING WITH HER AND TALKING TO HER ON THE PHONE. SHE WAS AN INSPIRATION TO ME AND TO ALL WHO KNEW HER. SO, AGNES, I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW. MARTHA PARKER

CAROLYN, I FEEL SO BLESSED TO HAVE HAD AGNES FOR MY AUNT. SHE ALWAYS LIFTED ME UP WHEN I WOULD CALL AND TALK TO HER - WHAT AN AMAZING LADY! SHE WAS SUCH A GOOD FRIEND TO MY MAMA, JOSIE EWING, WHEN SHE WAS LIVING. I WAS ONLY ABLE TO VISIT HER TWICE WHEN SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE I'VE BEEN SICK AND I KNEW THEY DIDN'T WANT ANYONE WITH HER THAT WAS ILL. I'M GOING TO MISS HER SO MUCH BUT I KNOW SHE ISN'T IN PAIN ANYMORE. SHE AND MAMA ARE BOTH IN HEAVEN NOW. WHEN I WOULD CALL AND TALK TO AGNES IN THE HOSPITAL, I WOULD ALWAYS BLOW HER A KISS AND SHE WOULD SAY "I GOT IT!" AND THEN I WOULD SEND HER A BIG HUG AND SHE WOULD SAY "I GOT THAT, TOO ---HERE'S ONE FOR YOU" AND I WOULD SAY "OKAY, I GOT IT- GOOD NIGHT- I LOVE YOU". SO HERE'S A BIG HUG AND KISS FROM ME TO YOU, AGNES-I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH. BONNIE AND JAMES EARL MCANALLY
