Joyce Marie Lene’ Dalby, 83, of Nederland passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Cypress Glen East Nursing Home in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the mortuary.
Joyce was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Nederland and was active in the United Methodist Women’s Group. Joyce had served in many offices of the Eastern Star and several of the Star Points.
Ms. Dalby is survived by her daughters, Connie Dalby Cotter of Houston, Lettie Dalby Chandler of Kirbyville; sons, Randy Dalby and wife Ruby of Cleveland, TX, Brad Dalby and wife Lucy of Beaumont; fourteen grandchildren, Curtis, Jason and wife Jennifer, Dylan and wife Dana, Kristi and husband Shinji, Brandon, Dusty, Clint, Shane, Shaun and wife Carrie, Jason and wife Jonna, Lucas, Jessica, Shelby, and Kristen; twelve great grandchildren, C.J., Madison, Sarah, Hannah, Major, Grace, Emory, Audrey, Kayleigh, Alaina, Reed, and Greyson; honorary daughters, Carolyn Harris, and Teri McCarthy; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Cypress Glen East and Christus St. Mary’s Hospital for the special care given to Ms. Dalby.
