Daniel “Danny” Wayne Pratt, 29, went to be with our Lord on November 23, 2007. He will be greatly loved and missed by many. Danny was born in Nederland on September 6, 1978 to Wayne and Bobbi Pratt. He was raised here and then later in Wildwood where he attended school before moving back to Nederland. He was a 1997 graduate of Warren High School. Currently Danny was in the Iron Workers Union in Beaumont, and had worked for Bubba’s Heating and Air Conditioning.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be held from 5 to 8:00 pm on Monday at the mortuary.
Danny was a great guy who was always up for anything. From a trip to the beach or a backyard barbeque, he was going to be there. He had many friends and a huge family that loved him dearly. He could make anyone laugh and had a great one himself. Danny loved football and this season would take Green Bay over anyone. He loved to play basketball, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family. His smile and laughter will be missed.
Danny was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edwin “Concrete” Roberts of Nederland and Jesse Pratt of Kountze. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Bobbi Pratt of Wildwood; brother, Justin Pratt and wife Johanna; sister, Kelly Tillerson and husband JR; grandmothers, Dorothy Roberts of Nederland, and Bobbie Jean Pratt of Kountze; three beautiful nieces, Madison, Natalie and Allie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends.
We know that Danny is looking down on us from heaven with Paw-Paw. The world just got a new angel to watch over them. We love you Danny, “Uncle D” and miss you! You were the best son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. One day we will all meet again.
