Cecil Matthew Spain, 43, of Nederland passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at his residence.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 23, 2007 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland, and a memorial service to be held at 2:00pm at the Calavary Assembly of God in Tyler, Texas on Friday, November 23, 2007.
Cecil was a native of Davenport, Iowa and lived in Nederland for the past year. He was carpenter in the construction field. Cecil was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Vigil Spain.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Ashlea Spain of Nederland; mother, Patricia Spain Hunt and husband Kenneth of Tyler; sons, Cecil Matthew Spain Jr. of Overton, TX, Pvt. Charles Michael Spain of Tyler; sister, Sissy Greenlee and husband Roy of Chappell, TX; brothers, Paul Spain and wife Jackie of Chappell, TX, David Spain and wife Lynda of Overton, Joe Spain and wife Tina of Arp, TX; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
