Kevin James Robbins, Jr., 28, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2007 in an automobile accident on South Major Drive in Beaumont.
Kevin was born in Beaumont, Texas on August 24, 1979, and graduated from Lumberton High School in 1997. Kevin was an equipment operator for several road construction crews in Beaumont. His beloved MeeMa, Ruby Robbins; Peepa, Charlie Lane; and his Grandma Losey preceded him in death.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Kevin and Debbie Robbins of Lumberton, and Linda Robbins of Beaumont; two brothers, Randal Devillier of Lumberton and Greg Devillier of Beaumont; grandparents, Darby and Dee Doguet of China; uncles and aunts, Richard and Joan Robbins of Olathe, Kansas, John and Becky Robbins of Houston, Greg and Barbara Winters of Corpus Christi, Jimmy Losey and Laura Losey of Grand Rapids, Michigan, David and Sheri Doguet of Pleasanton, Mike and Lisa Doguet of China, Deanna Devillier of China, Fritz and Pam Faust of New Braunfels, and Joe and Donna Feste of Austin; first cousins, Sonya Robbins, Sean Robbins, Lindsay and Mat Grise, Greg, Emma, Jesse and Anna Rae Winters, David, Jr., Darie, Darin and Ashley Doguet, Darby and Christina Doguet, Michelle Doguet, Tracy and Amy Devillier, Ally Faust and Nicole Feste.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 Highway 90, China, Texas with Father Tran officiating. Burial will follow at China Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Christian Vigil will be 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Mortuary.
