Bubba Dillon, 45 of Nederland passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland with Rev. Louis Delarue officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Christian Vigil at 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
Bubba was a native of Port Arthur and has been a lifelong resident of Nederland. He was a pipe fitter and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Bubba was preceded in death by his father, Bill Dillon and brother, Wayne Dillon. He is survived by his mother, Violet Dillon of Nederland; daughter, Tressa Cantrell of Vidor; two sisters, Denise Sponsler and her husband Cliff of Nederland, Donna York and her husband Jamie of Fannett, three nephews, Jason Dillon, Jacob York, Randy Sponsler; one niece, Shelly Sponsler and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
