Esther Alice “Billie” Rice Miller, 87, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully unto her Lord Wednesday, November 7, 2007.
Billie was born August 1, 1920 in Jobabo, Cuba. She was a resident of the United States since 1930 and of Beaumont for the past thirty years where she was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Her husband, Roy Arthur Miller preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis Miller of Greensboro, North Carolina and Chris Miller of Denver, Colorado; granddaughters, Laura Shaffner, Sara Miller and Erin Miller; grandsons, Steven Miller and Jeffery Miller; two great granddaughters; sisters, Verna Weishampel, Lucille Outler, Elsie Williams and Elva Drennan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Mortuary.
