Ruth Leblanc Kitchell, 66 of Nederland, born December 22, 1940 died Sunday, November 4, 2007 after a short term battle with cancer.
A native of Mermentau, Louisiana and a long time resident of the golden triangle. Ruth was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
A private memorial service for Mrs. Kitchell will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Barney E. Kitchell of Nederland, two daughters, Pam Kitchell of Port Neches, Melissa Matt and her husband Kevin of Lake Jackson; son, Michael Kitchell of Port Neches; five grandchildren, Brittney Kitchell, Joey Durso, Dylan Kitchell, Ashli Matt, and Kayla Matt.
In addition to her family Ruth had many loving extended family and friends. The family would like to give gratitude for the wonderful care given to her by the doctors and nurses of Renaissance Hospital.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.
