Ruth Glaze, 70, of Sour Lake, passed away at the Kountze Nursing Center on Wednesday, February 25, 2004. Funeral Service will be today, Friday, February 27, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Pine Ridge, with burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s. Reverend Drifty Cates and Reverend Tommy Jacobson will be officiating. A gathering of family and friends will begin today at 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
A native of Kountze she was a lifelong resident of Sour Lake and was beautician.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Anderson of Sour Lake and Kim Scott and husband Tommy of Sour Lake; son, Randy Glaze and wife Carolyn of Sour Lake; brothers, John Brown of Kountze and Wilburt Brown, Gene Brown and Jacky Brown all of Sour Lake; sister, Betty Luke of Houma, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
