Justin Gene Kelley, 23, of Hamshire, died October 29, 2007 at the UTMB Hospital in Galveston.
Justin had lived all his life in Hamshire and worked as a crane operator. He was a 2002 graduate of Hamshire-Fannett High School and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Diana Kelley of Hamshire; brother, Brandon Kelley of Hamshire; sister, Chantel Savoie and her husband, Donald; their son, Colton Savoie all of Winnie; grandparents, Dave and Liz Davis of Akron, OH, Doris Joseph Gaspard of Hamshire. Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Mae Gaspard; grandfather, Elmer Kelley and uncle Charlie Kelley
“Jus” will be missed by numerous family and friends. He will be remembered as a fun loving son, brother, and most of all as Colton’s hero. We all know he is fishing now!
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
