Mary Ann Niezek Faour, 77, passed from this life at 1:48 a.m. October 18, 2007 at Selected Specialty Hospital following an extended illness. She was a native of Beaumont and a resident of Houston.
After working many years to support her family as a licensed real-estate broker, she retired to spend more time with her growing family. Mary Ann was an active participant in her grandchildren’s lives.
Her parents, Edna and Charles Niezek preceded her in death.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family members; her daughters, Loretta Ann Lee of Houston and Jean Arlene Lyon and her husband Larry of Davis, Oklahoma; brother, Wolford Charles Niezek and his wife Helen of Palmer, Alaska; uncle, Jerry Niezek of Beaumont; grandsons, Joseph Lewis Goins of Houston; granddaughters, Jennifer Goins Hogue of North Richland Hills, Texas and Melissa Lee Tester of Houston; great grandchildren, Joseph Hogue and Emily Grace Hogue both of North Richland Hills and Ethan Alexander Goins of Houston.
A Trisagion will be 6:45 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2007 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 5311 Mercer, Houston. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2007 at St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
