Rudy Garcia Jr., 50, of Port Neches passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 at his residence in Port Neches.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2007 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Buddy Evans officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
Rudy was a native of Port Arthur and lived in Port Neches all of his life. He retired from the City of Port Neches as the assistant director of public works with 31 years of service.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Deedrea Garcia of Port Neches; two daughters, Lindsay Brooke Garcia of Nederland, and Meagan Denise Garcia of Port Neches; one son, Corey Brent Garcia of Port Neches; sister, Ann Bowie and her husband Gregg of Port Neches; two brothers, Bobby Garcia of Albuquerque, James Garcia of Port Neches, one honorary brother, Jeff Dietrich of Port Neches; and one grandson, Brayden Kenneth Garcia.
Serving as pallbearers are Bobby Garcia, James Garcia, Duane Saatzer, Justin Yates, Jeremy Bowie, Corey Garcia and the honorary pallbearers are Joshua Bowie and Jeff Deitrich.
