Robert “Bob” Marshburn, 61, of Beaumont, died Friday, October 12, 2007.
A native of Bronson and resident of Beaumont since 1971, Bob owned and operated Emergency Power Service. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Marshburn of Beaumont; son, Jason Marshburn of Beaumont; sister, Shanna Partin of San Augustine; brother, Mike Marshburn of San Augustine; nephews, Bill Partin and Cole Marshburn; and niece Mila Marshburn.
His parents, Joe Ed and Dora Marshburn; brothers, Wayne and Dwayne Marshburn; and aunt, Verlie Warner preceded him in death.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Starr Funeral Home, 511 Starr Street in Hemphill with burial to follow at McGown Cemetery in Milam. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007 at Starr Funeral Home.
