Thula Hitt Felsher, 95, of Beaumont died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of House, Mississippi and former resident of Biloxi, Thula moved to Beaumont in 1937. She became a member of First Baptist Church and is currently a member of Philathea Sunday School Class. Thula graduated from Biloxi Hospital Nursing School in 1935 and later retired from Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth as a Registered Nurse.
Thula is survived by her son, Nickey Felsher and his wife Millie of Beaumont; daughter, Myra Mau and her husband Frank of Fair Oaks Ranch; grandchildren, Nicole Felsher of Houston, Kim Felsher of New York City, and Bryan Albert Mau and his wife Laura of Austin; great grandchildren, Phoebe Mau, Andrea Mau, Jonathan Mau, and Meredith Mau; sister, Ruth McCuistion of Beaumont. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nick Daven Felsher.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the mortuary.
