Beatrice Wilburn, 65, of Kountze died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. Beatrice was born February 12, 1942 to Andy and Rosetta (Lawson) Collins in Hazzard County, Kentucky and a resident of Kountze for the last five years.
She is survived by her children, Charles Michael Wilburn of Fort Drum, New York, Tonia Rose Parrish and her husband Chris, and Jesse Allen Johnson Wilburn and his wife Shannon, both of Kountze; and grandchildren, Chyenne Wilburn, Austin Wilburn, Kayla Wilburn, Courtney Parrish, Jacob Wilburn, Jesse Wilburn, Lailah Wilburn, Shayla Welch, Shelby Welch, and Shane Welch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Wilburn; mother, Rosetta Lawson Collins; and father, Andy Collins.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at Memorial Rest Gardens in Coldspring, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday evening, October 4, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
