Lilly Belle Ducote, 92, of Nederland passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at her residence.
A Funeral Mass will be recited at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 1, 2007 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Broussard’s in Nederland with a Christian Vigil and Rosary at 6:00 P.M.
Lilly was a native of Cottonport, Louisiana and lived for the past 44 years in Nederland. Lilly was a member of the Ladies Altar Society of St. Charles Borromeo Church and B.A. Ritter Senior Citizens Center in Nederland.
Mrs. Ducote is survived by her daughter, Dee Powell and husband Doug of Winnie; her son, Joey Ducote of Nederland; thirteen grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Baglio of Alexandria, Louisiana; brother, Stanley Ducote of Nederland; daughters-in-law Shirley Ducote of Bridge City, and Maxie Ducote of Zachary, Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
