Virginia I. McLemore, 81, of Beaumont, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont.
A native of Beaumont and resident of the area most of her life, Mrs. McLemore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Druanne Bruno of Beaumont; grandchildren, Kim Sleeper and her husband Kevin of Nederland, Karen Rigby and her husband Corey of Nederland, Jennifer George and her husband Casey of Mont Belvieu, Jon Michael McLemore of Houston, Jason McLemore and his wife Kris of Beaumont, and Dustin McLemore of Austin; great grandchildren, Brooke Sleeper, Grace Rigby, Reagan Rigby, Jaycee George, Noah George, Tucker George, Maddie McLemore and Chris McLemore; sisters, Maureen Brown and Dorthy Smith; brothers, Monroe Parsley and his wife Anita all of Vidor and Raymond Parsley and his wife Jo Ann of Beaumont; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Her loving husband of forty-three years, Dru McLemore, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Mortuary.
