Opal Ogden 77, of Port Neches passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Facility in Groves.

Mrs. Ogden was a native of Collins, Mississippi and lifelong resident of the mid-county area. She was employed with Sandoz, formerly Velsicol, as a warehouse clerk for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Patti Ogden of South Bend, Indiana, her sons, Robert Lloyd Ogden of Port Neches and Russell Craig Ogden and his wife Barbara also of Port Neches. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with her a few months before her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family. That was the first and last time to meet her and for the severals hours I spent with her will never be forgotten, she helped me learn alot about myself that I would have never known.
