I am so very sorry to hear of Kim's passing. I attended school with her. Though I did not keep in touch with her, I remember what a great personality she had, and a wonderful heart. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her children at this difficult time. May God be with you.

I'll never forget riding the school bus with Kim all those years. She was the toughest little girl I ever knew who turned into a fine, strong woman. I remember her big green eyes and olive skin and her long limbs flopping over the bus seats--always facing backwards with a coke and a bag of chips. If she wasn't cutting up, she was leading us in singing country western songs--bossing little Bobbie one minute and taking up for her the next. Above all, Kim loved her family. She was fiercely protective of them so I can just imagine what a wonderful mother she became. It's been years since I've seen her, but her passing is such a loss. I won't be able to think of those fun times without remembering her always.

We are so sorry for your loss. Kim was such an outgoing & friendly young lady. The first time I remember seeing her was at the store with her Mom & little sister Bobbie. We had just purchased the store and I remember her as a sweet bashful little girl ~ about four or five years old. She loved coming to the store & getting some candy or gum almost every day. The Hooks family children all grew up in & out of the store. We got to know all the kids. We felt like they were family and we certainly do share in your pain at the loss of Kim. Mary,Lori, & Brad were all shocked & saddened by the news. They all asked to let all the Hooks family they will be thinking of you all tomorrow.
