Arven Wayne “Boo Boo” Bearden 49, of LaBelle passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 10 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland with Reverend Ronald Bordes officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5-8 PM, Friday at the mortuary.
Arven was a native and lifelong resident of the mid-county area. He was employed with Gulfco for 16 years as a steel worker.
He is survived by his parents Robert Odell Bearden Sr. of Port Acres, Ruby Mae Bearden of LaBelle, two sons, Justin Bearden of San Diego, Ca., Joshua Bearden of Augusta, Geogria; three sisters, Linda Sue Bearden Bean of LaBelle, Mattie Lynn Bearden Baird and her husband Billy of Joplin, Mo., Pamela Jean Bearden Welch and her husband Jerry of Nederland, five brothers, Robert Bearden Jr. and his wife Vickie of LaBelle, Johnny Bearden and his wife Paula of LaBelle, Gary Michael Bearden and his wife Leslie of Fannett, David Allen Bearden and Maddie Monk of Groves, Steven Bearden and his wife Katrinia of Port Arthur, and numerous nieces and nephews.
