Jo Ann Salter, 72 of Port Arthur passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves.
Funeral service will be 2PM on Wednesday September 19, 2007 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland with Reverend Phil Baugh officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 Tuesday at the mortuary.
Jo Ann was a native of Mound and has lived in Port Arthur for over fifty years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman; son, David Salter and her daughter, Sheila Hebert.
Jo Ann is survived by her son, Chuck Salter and his wife Tisha of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Sandra Salter of Port Arthur; sister, Janet Freeman of Shreveport, Louisiana, five grandchildren, Billy, Michelle, Danielle, Sunny Jo, and Jennifer, eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
