Doris Jean Harrison, 74, of Beaumont died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Roganville, Doris was a longtime resident of the Beaumont area.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Merritt of Austin; son, Charley Kenneth Harrison and his wife Frances of Beaumont; four grandchildren, Wendy Brandhorst of Austin, Greg Overman of Citrus Heights, California, Hannah Harrison of Nashville, Tennessee, and Charley Daniel Harrison of Austin. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Chester Harrison, and son, Rodger Dale Harrison.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007 at the mortuary
