Billy Wade “Sleepy” McDonald, 63, of Evadale, died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at his residence. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy. Kountze, Texas, with burial to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna, with Reverend Curtis Thulin officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be today, Monday, April 12, 2004, from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
A native of El Campo, Texas, he lived in Evadale and was a self-employed roofer.
He is survived by his daughter, Jodi Carey of Georgetown; son, Kenneth McDonald of Kerrville; brother, Jim McDonald of Hemphill; half-brother, Frank “Bo” McDonald of Silsbee; four grandchildren and caretaker and close friend, Viola Prine of Evadale.
