Muriel Clubb McBride, 73, of Winnie, died September 2, 2007 at the Arboretum. A native of Fannett, she was a resident of the Winnie area most of her life.
Muriel is survived by her sons, Stephen McBride, Jr., Vaughn McBride and his wife Liz, and Charles McBride and his wife Elke; daughters, Stephanie DeYoung and Paulette Zambrano and her husband Martin all of Winnie; brothers, Alvin Clubb and Malcome Clubb both of Beaumont, and Paul Clubb and wife Bernie of Hamshire; sisters, Jean Waggner and husband Jimmy of Channelview, Juanita Dorman of Hamshire, Doris Straw of Sour Lake, Glenda LaComp and husband Ike of Port Acres, and Susie Wilson and husband Kenny of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Wesley DeYoung, Casey DeYoung, Kristopher McBride, and Monica Simon; and great grandchild, Wesley Kim DeYoung
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at St. Louis Catholic Church with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday evening, September 4, 2007 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at the mortuary.
