Ola Delle Wright, 89, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007. She was a native of Mathison, Mississippi and a resident of Beaumont since 1948.
Ola Delle became a Jehovah’s Witness in 1931 and was well known as a fine bible teacher. Her hospitality was legendary and she was an excellent seamstress.
Survivors include her husband Robert F. Wright of Beaumont; sisters, Mattie J. Farris of Beaumont, Mary E. Pottorf and her husband George R. of Tucson, Arizona and Annie Ruth Gandy and her husband S.O. Gandy, Jr. of Beaumont; three nieces; one nephew; six great nephews; and three great nieces.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the mortuary.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s.
