Margaret Sockler, 77, of Beaumont, died Friday, August 24 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Enid and former resident of Garber, Oklahoma, Margaret has been a resident of Beaumont since 1964 and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. David Sockler of Beaumont; son, Steven Sockler and his wife Danice of Alpharetta, Georgia; daughter, Allison Duesing and her husband Tom of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Lindsay Sockler, Thomas Duesing and David Duesing.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 at Trinity United Methodist Church under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the McKnight Parlor until service time at the church.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s Crematorium.
