Ben Lopez, 85, of Winnie passed away April 28, 2004 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
He was born in Nixon, Texas and a life long resident of Winnie. Ben is retired from the Military as a staff sergeant in the Army for 20 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be, Saturday, May 1, 2004, 10 a.m., St. Louis Catholic Church , with burial in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening 5-8 p.m. with a rosary resided at 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
He is survived by daughter, Linda Fregia and husband Michael of Fannett, TX; brothers, Crespin Lopez of Winnie, TX; Moses Lopez of Fort Worth, TX; Johnny Lopez of Beaumont, TX; sister, Nazaria “Pug” Ogden of San Angelo,TX; grandchildren, Michael Fregia, Michael Rodriguez, Michelle Fitzgerald, great grandchildren, Bryce Fregia and Cody Rodriguez.
