We would like to thank all the family and friends who took part in dad (Roy's) parting services into his new found healthy life with our Lord. He fought the fight and won his rewards in Heaven. Special thanks to Father Anthony, Milton, Della, ,The Altar Societies, Peggy&The Funeral Choir, Norris & Peggy Simon, Knights of Columbus, Council 3195, The Grand Knights standing guard, Leroy(your harmonica was great) and Pearl Peltier, Jane(our dear friend -what a voice)... Bev, Louis, Sandy J, Sandy W, Juliee D, for serving at Mass and at the Rosary ... Aunt Mary and Uncle Pat for being there for him and us through this long fight and bringing up the Gifts at Mass, Gina, Janice,(multi-talented/voice and guitar - wow!) , Ryan Broussard, DonDon, Ricky G, Barry, Bobby H, Uncle Pat for honoring us by being pallbearers ... Thanks to all of you at Broussard's Mortuary, and dad's granddaughter Abby, and nephew Don, for your special touches that added even more meaning to the services. It meant a lot to us. Thank-you Yaya's for every part you played in helping us through this ... also to Patty and Deb, Ken Wilda! If we have failed to mention someone - believe us, you know who you are and please know that we are forever grateful to you for what you shared with us - your time and talents. From Eazy to Roy... We have always appreciated your sharing your metal building for practices ... hopefully you got to enjoy some of their music ... we all appreciated your generosity, hard work and witty personality ... for that reason you were given their very 1st CD. Hopefully you are sharing the music with all our family who has arrived in Heaven previously ... Roy "Bruce" was proud of his cajun heritage no doubt ... hopefully the Broussard Roots will carry on ... As good friends said at a time when we were feeling down... It's hard to bring a good cajun down! With a "heart-felt thanks" ... God Bless You All The RC & Marjorie Broussard Family, Rick Broussard Steve & Cindy Champagne Jason and Catey Champagne Ryan & Stephanie Broussard

Uncle Bruce meant a lot to us. We loved Uncle Bruce so much, and thought so highly of him, that we gave our son the middle name of 'Charles' in hopes that we would always remember what a great uncle he had been to us. We also plan to make sure that Joey feels special for sharing his name, it will NOT be a difficult thing to achieve. We have some really wonderful and special memories of this man. He will be missed. All of our love, always.
