Raymond Jude “Sarge” Guillory, 67, of Lumberton, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Cottonport, Louisiana and resident of the Beaumont Lumberton area since 1960, Mr. Guillory was a retired pipe fitter with Union 76 and Mobil Oil. He was a United States Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. Tanner Guillory of Lumberton; daughter, Darla Guillory Wright and her husband Albert of Kountze; sons, Paul C. Guillory and his wife Taffy of El Dorado Hills, California and James Guillory of Lumberton; four grandchildren, Jaquelyn Stark and her husband Shane, Gaige Guillory, Peytn Guillory and Reese Guillory; future great grandson, Hunter Jude Stark; and sister, Nell Thevenot of Beaumont.
His daughter, Melissa Guillory preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. August 1, 2007 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Danny Guillory, Carl Guillory, Robert Guillory, Andy Strazz, Gary Heinz and Larry Davis will be serving as pallbearers. Bill Teel and The Mobil Oil Coker Unit will be serving as honorary pallbearers. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a Christian Vigil at 6:00 p.m.,Tuesday evening, July 31, 2007 at the Mortuary.
