Ngu Tran, 93, of Beaumont, died Thursday, July 12, 2007. A native of Ha Tinh, Vietnam and resident of Beaumont since 1975, Mr. Tran was a fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Chien Thi Nguyen of Beaumont; children, Chien Nguyen and her husband Duong, Nhung T. Nguyen and her husband Tra, Than Tran and her husband Huong, John Truc Tran and his wife Anh, Mai T. Tran and her husband Nam, Canh Hoang and her husband Tam, and Andrew Phuong Tran and his wife Loan Nguyen; thirty-six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and sisters, Muoi Tran and Tam Tran.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 8:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
