William Morris “Bill” English Sr., 82, of Nederland passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 in The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 11, 2007 with Brother George Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the mortuary.
Bill was born in Newton, TX and lived his adult life in Nederland. He retired from Texaco Refinery in 1983. He served in the Navy during WWII and retired from the Army National Guard.
Bill was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Nederland and also a member of Cosmopolitan Port Arthur Lodge No. 1264 A.F.& A.M.
Mr. English is survived by his loving wife Gloria Henderson English of Nederland; daughter, Mary Hudson and husband Ronnie of Nederland; son, William M. “Bill” English Jr. of Nederland; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
The English family would like to thank Dr. Kotzur, The Medical Center’s Doctors, Nurses and Staff, and Aline and Lindy Gothia and their family for all their care and support during this trying time.
